Law & Justice

The criminal justice and legal system employs a range of workers, from police to corrections officers, lawyers to counselors. Training requirements vary widely based on position -- some careers require a GED or high school diploma, while others require advanced professional or graduate degrees. Career training for paralegals and court reporters can take months for entry-level jobs requiring a certificate or associate's degree. Higher level positions require years of experience and the best-paid paralegals have at least a bachelor's degree. Some entry-level positions in the FBI also require a bachelor's degree as a minimum qualification.
